Child Arrangement Orders

Live With and Contact With Orders
Non-Emergency Prohibitive Step Orders (P.S.O.)
Non-Emergency Specific Issue Orders (S.I.O)

Early

Resolution

Everything works better if there is agreement.

Arrangements about your child or children are the same.

Lisa can help you negotiate those discussions with your ex-partner.

There is a greater emphasis on negotiations, as a member of Resolution Lisa promotes this whenever possible.

If your case ends up going into the court arena there will be an expectation that resolving differences has been attempted.

If arrangements can be negotiated and you want a formal court document an application can be made for an agreed order to be 'rubber stamped' by the court. This is called a consent order.

Live With

Your Application

You may be at the point where an application to the court for clear arrangements for your child or children, is the only way forward.

The majority of families are expected to attend mediation before court starts. Lisa can refer you to a mediator if needed.

Arrangements for who your child or children live with are a way of ensuring they have a stable and robust routine. There are many different arrangements that can be made, from a child living with one parent, to the child living with both parents (which doesn't necessarily mean half and half).

Contact With

Your Application

Is contact with your ex-partner causing you sleepless nights?

Contact arrangements can become headache, whether you want your child(ren) to have more contact with them or whether things are ad hoc and you would like your child(ren) to have a good routine. A contact with order can provide the framework that you can work around.

It may be that your child(ren) are living with someone who has a special guardianship order and contact isn't happening or isn't regular, a contact with order may be the right solution.

A good child arrangement order will put in a structure for your family but allow for your child(ren) to grow up and change.
